About You
If you find yourself wishing you had someone to talk to that could *really* listen, give you input that’s actually helpful (only when you wanted it) - or you’re new here in West Seattle or the US (or maybe even motherhood), and feeling a little isolated; I want to be here for you.
Let’s go for a walk or get a cup of coffee.
You can dictate what works and doesn’t work for you, it can always be your turn to talk, or I can give you some experience-backed advice. Your call. I’m here to be your friendly neighborhood human, Ali.
About Me
For over a decade, I worked in medical settings as a doctor of audiology (hearing doctor). While in college and grad school, I took every opportunity I could to study and volunteer abroad. During my career, I created a small education business, failed at (which I’m happy about now) creating an app with my husband, and after having our second child, became a stay-at-home mom (/walk around West Seattle confidant).
My husband and I have been married since 2013, navigating demanding work schedules, reinventing ourselves, reaffirming our commitment to each other, buying and selling our first home, parenting two sweet and spirited kids, and building stronger relationships with our aging parents.
And with more than 10 years of training in somatic leadership, deep internal work, and gradually healing from multiple chronic conditions - I hold a uniquely empowered and compassionate set of skills and life-experience.
I love the work of Hilma Af Klint, listening to the NPR show “Car Talk” with my husband, and I look forward to when I have the chutzpa to take a deep dive in to gardening. I’d love to hear what you’re interested in!
